This list is based on the Department's card catalogue, two guides to the Department's collections: Pruvodce
po archivnich fondech Ustavu dejin hudby Moravskeho zemskeho musea v Brne (1971) and Pruvodce
po archivnich fondech II (2007), and
the Book of New Acquisitions (up to c2011). Please note that the list does not include the more recent acquisitions. As the shelf numbers may have changed and the archival material may have been
re-arranged since this list was created, researchers are advised to consult the Museum staff.
This collection comprises of items donated to the museum by Kapralova's mother (1957, 1959), Kapralova's husband Jiri Mucha (1988),
Kapralova's friends Libuse Houzvickova-Kucerova and Ota Vach (1990s), and Eva Maternova (1991), with further acquisitions from: Marie Krafkova, Josef Severa, Josef Kohout, Jaroslav Pohanka, and L. Pospisilova.

Scores of Martinu's music originally in Kapralova's possession:
- String Quartet No.5 [A 29.759]. The original autograph sketch shows an inscription to Vitezslava Kapralova. The 12-page autograph contains a number of whimsical cartoons in the composer's hand expressing his thoughts about
Kapralova.
- Julietta[A 29.760]. The autograph score (piano reduction) shows an inscription to Vitezslava Kapralova and contains notes in the composer's handwriting expressing his thoughts about Kapralova.
